CARD: Space to Write

You've been writing and writing and writing so many cards and you have long spotted the difference in texture of surfaces leading to different kind of appearance after writing, the ease of writing is affected too. Here's some options for you when it comes to space for writing, I'll go through some of the pros and cons of it too. (:

#1. Ready made message box stickers with glossy surface. Looks good, feels good and great to use. Just simply remove it from the clear film and stick unto your card! However, avoid using markers or inky pens to write, they smudge easily on these surfaces. Comes in both pop-up and flat sticker versions. (=

#3. Ready made message box with paper surface. These are usually in the form of card stock or in the form of paper. They are easy to write on and friendly to inky pens and markers. However, as it usually comes in card stock or paper form, it does not has a sticky adhesive surface and is flat. Will not have a pop-up effect on your card unless you make it so.

#3. Base paper, self made message box. Simple and clear cut. Some base paper have rough texture surfaces, so for that you might want to choose writing with a pen that has a thicker and stronger tip, or else you the rough surface may cause your tip to break or just makes it hard to write. No adhesive surface, tape/glue yourself, no pop-up version too unless you do it yourself.
