GIFT WRAPPING: The Classic "Puff"

Your friend's birthday is round the corner, together with your friends you bought clothes. While wrapping, you notice some lose thread and white strings all around, on the inner side. It's not the first time nor will this be the last time you encounter one like this, matter of fact is, you will see it when it's cloth. So, how can you trim or remove those lose threads? [Other than using a pair of suitable scissors]

Simply remove any lose threads that have separate and are just on the surface, but be very careful with those that have not separated from the clothes itself. You never know one pull or one tug can destroy the entire hem lines, and you definitely don't want it to happen. So, CHECK the STRINGS are DETACHED. If it isn't TRACE the THREAD to where it's coming out from. Avoid cutting those near the sides, shoulder lines, the end of the sleeve/collar or even the zip. You may want to leave it as that.

Few reasons why you want to be real careful and don't wanna cut just any strings.
#1. In trying to lift the string away from it, you accidentally pull it too hard.
#2. The hem lines gets off, the shape is lost, or even the size becomes smaller!
#3. Handling the scissors, you are nearing the line, and you cut the material too!

Phews, the clothe is ready to be wrapped! Here's the classic 'puff' you may want to try. (= You may also take a ribbon and tie it around the folded cloth, simple and nice.

Nope, I didn't use the "pull-for-a-ribbon-strips", made it out of one piece of ribbon. Tie it up well, then cut the ends into thin strips. After, place the thin strips between the sharp edge of the scissors and your fingers. [Be careful not to cut yourself.], 'stretch' the thin strip using your scissors.
